Hello everybody,
I get new message indications on Windows Mail. I am using an IMAP server, which is actually an exchagne server 2003. I read my email using web access and imap. Now if I have read an email using web access it is marked as read (as it should be) in my inbox folder. However the program reports it to the "outside" (taskbar) as new message arrived, which is correct in the sense that it recieve one new, however it is in fact not. This was allso the case in any previous versions of microsoft mail systems (outlook express, outlook and the mac version (forgot the name)). If this is not a program malfunction, in my opinion this is a program malfunction, however you can offcourse disagree, please let me know. With greetings, Eddie Turfboer. |
