When the error message pops up, see if there is a place in the lower left to
get online help, or some such thing. If so, click on it and it should/might
take you to various topics on the subject. Try some of the suggestions. I
did, none worked, your results may vary. You are not alone with this problem
;-)

You can try compacting the database. Go to Tools | Options | Advanced |
Maintenance and change the value for compact number from 100 to 1. Then
close WinMail and it will prompt to compact the database. Let it do that
and then reopen WinMail and change that value back to 100. See if that
fixes it.

Otherwise, its probably a big that will be fixed (hopefully) in later
versions.

See if you can find the message under the Inbox directory in the message
store and if so, then delete it there.

My Vista RC1 is working fine; all except my SBCGlobal Email account. I used
exactly the same setup on the account, which works fine on XP, but not Widows
Mail in Vista.
ATT tells me they "don't support Vista!" What can that mean? Or will a
later Vista fix it?
