What's the fastest way to transfer/import files from an external device into
my local drive. It would be nice if there was a program out there that would list all of the files found in the external device by category. (ie. Pics, movies, docs) Please help, Thanks |

Why not search the drive by file extensions such as .jpg .mov .doc etc.?
Then select the files and Copy them. "Peter" wrote in message news ![]() What's the fastest way to transfer/import files from an external device into my local drive. Pics, movies, docs) Sort the files by extension, and they will be grouped by category. -- Ken Blake, Microsoft MVP Windows - Shell/User Please Reply to the Newsgroup |
