If I right-click copy on a image in IE and try to paste the image into a
html format email instead of the image I get a small icon with a red X. If I do it on Outlook 2003 it paste into a new msg just file. Strangely if I copy/paste the image from the Outlook 2003 draft msg into a new msg in Windows Mail it works fine. Some sort of security block at work here I suppose. |

I don't know why it would work at all. You can't copy and paste images in
WinMail. The image has to have a filename to be referenced and embedded, so use Insert | Picture instead of trying to copy and paste them. Outlook will do that, but OE and WinMail won't. steve "Just Bob" wrote in message news ![]() If I right-click copy on a image in IE and try to paste the image into a html format email instead of the image I get a small icon with a red X. I don't know what to say to that other than in OE you could copy and paste
all the text and pictures from a web page into a html format email message and in Windows Mail the images are not pasted. I thought it worked great, and still works great in Outlook 2003. If you are pasting HTML code it will work, but you cannot just copy a
picture onto the clipboard and then paste it. steve "Just Bob" wrote in message ... No, turn off the Block Images in the Security tab
Tools | Options | Security tab Should work just fine then. Buggy that you have to do it to be able to see it and defeats the general purpose of it. "Tony Rogan" wrote in message ...
