I added a "Read Mail" icon to the IE-7 toolbar. (RC-1, Build 5600)
Clicking it opens Mail, but it is minimized with a blinking orange entry on taskbar. Clicking it opens Mail full screen. Before I submit a bug report, need to know if there is some setting that I'm missing |

Rob ^_^:
Thanks for your reply. Tried all three possibilities, but the problem remains. 1. The mail program was not already opened. 2. When I click on the flashing orange taskbar icon, Mail opens full screen. When I close it at full screen (and returning to IE), clicking the Read Mail icon opens Mail full screen immediately. So the problem occurs only the first time I open IE and then click the toolbar icon. 3. I created the icon using the IE "Customize Command Bar/Add or Remove Commands" option. There is no "Maximize" choice there. Either right or left clicking the flashing orange Mail Taskbar icon causes Mail to open immediately full screen. This behavior is similar to some of my old DOS programs in Vista. On some of those, the flashing orange icon appears, but clicking on it brings up the UAC "Cancel/Allow" dialog. Could this problem be possibly related to UAC? "Harry Sherman" wrote in message ... I added a "Read Mail" icon to the IE-7 toolbar.
