Just a suggestion to a more personal Windows Mail experience.
It could bring a nice personal touch to reading mail if the contact image of the sender would show in the header of the mail in the preview pane and in general. Could be implimented in the right side of the header bar, where there is a "Rate this post" when in Community mode. It would also help motivate users to update the pictures of there contacts. I agree. It doesn't make since at all that the addressbook supports pictures
