Outlook does not appear as possible default e-mail option
RC 2 5744 with Office 2007 beta. Currently running Outlook as primary
e-mail client. If I go to Programs-Default Programs-Set Program access and computer defaults-Custom-Choose default e-mail, Outlook is not listed as a possible choice. If I check the registry under HKLM-Software-Clients-Mail, it is listed. Also listed in the registry is Hotmail, Windows Mail, and Mozilla Thunderbird. I believe I have the Office Beta 2 Technical update installed, so is this the case for everyone, or am I just different? Could Thunderbird be causing a problem? I have tried setting Outlook as the default e-mail from within Outlook, but it won't take. This is a follow on question discovered from an earlier thread. Thanks, Clark
