Default Windows Vista Screen goes blank

Has anyone found a solution to this problem yet?
I read somewhere that if you go to the Power Options, advanced
options, processor power management, and change the value of the
minimum processor state to 100%." that it may fix the problem. Can
anyone confirm this?
Thank You,
Randy

The screen can go blank for a lot of reasons. When is it doing this and how
about some details about the computer and what you have tried so far?

i have the same problem and am still trying to find out why. I can tell
you that the power management setting you described is not the issue at
least with my system. My screen seems to go blank often with no rhyme or
reason.
