Is it supported/receommended to have my PST in a mapped drive and then make
the mapped drive available offline?

No, it is not supported to have your .pst file on a network drive. You
will get answers from Outlook experts if you post in an Outlook
newsgroup. Try microsoft.public.outlook.general.
