Default Search function in the Start Menu

I have successfylly searced for files by using the search field in the
Start Menu. But after having moved a folder from my personal folder to
our shared folder I no longer get any hits when I search for documents
in the folder that I moved. I suppose I have to take some kind of action
to make things work again - but I don't know what to do. Can someone
please help me?

Default Search function in the Start Menu

Start - Control Panel - Indexing Options
make sure the new file location is included.
Modify - Show all locations

Hi Lise,

Welcome to Vista Forums.arty:

You will just need to add the new location to the Index so it will be
included in the search results. It may take it a bit ti update itself
unless you click on "Rebuild" after adding the location. This will show
you how.
