My WMP11 used to work fine. Recently, it started to show DVDs and other
video files in grey with very little contrast. MPEG videos can be adjusted to normal, but not the images from a DVD. Anybody know what the cause is? Thanks |

A solution that worked for me:
Here's the link to the discussion: http://www.techsupportforum.com/hard...-thoughts.html See comment by Setman. To summarize, here's what worked for me: In my NVIDIA control panel, under "Video and Television" category, choose "Adjust video color settings". Under the various sliders there is a check box labeled "Apply these settings to all video technologies". By unchecking this box, everything has started working correctly.
