No Sound Device Roles in RC1?

Has the Sound Device Roles feature been dropped from Vista? In beta builds,
the Sound control panel allowed me to specify different default sound devices
for Console, Movies&Music, and Communications roles. Now in RC1 (build
5600), the only option is "Set as default device"

Is this feature gone forever?
