ATI Radeon 9600 All-In-Wonder supported in Vista's Media Center?
Hello!
How can I get Windows Vista RC1 b5600 to work with this old video card with its own TV tuner? I did not see All-In-Wonder drivers on ati.com. Vista and its Media Center didn't detect my TV tuner either. Thank you in advance. -- Phillip Pi Senior Software Quality Assurance Analyst ISP/Symantec Online Services, Consumer Business Unit Symantec Corporation www.symantec.com ----------------------------------------------------- Email: YMC (remove SYMC to reply by e-mail) ----------------------------------------------------- Please do NOT e-mail me for technical support. From the release notes for the RC1 ATI drivers:
ATI All-in-Wonder® and VIVO variants based on the above are also supported. The capture driver for these products is not being updated at this time. https://a248.e.akamai.net/f/674/9206.../vistabet.html -- Jane, not plain 64 bit enabled Batteries not included. ATI Radeon 9600 All-In-Wonder supported in Vista's Media Cente
I have also heard rumor that ATI may be dropping thier all in wonder series,
which would make you wonder if it will ever get updated. Pretty much threw out my vivo card a few months ago in favor of a tv wonder elite. "Phillip Pi" wrote: Interesting. That stinks. Yes, that is my concern too. And ATI doesn't even open opensource their
drivers for others to use. I can't even use it with MythTV in Linux if I wanted to.
