Default cant transfer files


hi there im new here so hope im the right section

im also new to vista but having trouble

what ive done is transfered the music and videos from my mobile phone
to my computer by the memory card while i got a new phone

i got the new phone and tired to transfer the files back to the memory
card
however i get this error

"the disk is write protected

remove the write protection or try again"

try again and it wont work still
i turned the UAC off and still the same

hope you can help

Default cant transfer files

Hi,

What type of memory card does your phone use? If it is an SD card, or a
MicroSD or MiniSD that has an SD Card adaptor, you need to make sure that
you have not moved the small tab on the side of the adaptor to the "Lock"
position. "Lock" write-protects the card.
