Has anyone found a video editing application that will work in Vista to
produce DVD videos or slideshows? So far both ULead and Roxio don't seem to
work for me, and video editing and slideshow production are two important
uses for my computer. Without that capability, I'll stick with XP.

I have no experience with Roxio but the
following site says the recently released

Vista.

Hi,

If you check the Roxio newsgroups you'll see EMC is NOT YET compatible to
Vista. An update is promised by the time Vista ships to make EMC9 compatible.

Ok...thanks for the info.

All I had was what I read in
the article on the Roxio site.

No, I don't have the super graphics card required for Movie Maker or DVD (or
Aero).

Pure Motion's Edit Studio 5 works. I know I'm using it :-)

You can download a trial from the Pure Motion website.
