Default No sound when play DVD

I'm sorry that post 4 questions in there because I receive error message when
I post.(It told me message did not post).

My sound card driver is Realtek AC'97 Audio, the driver is download from
Windows Vista auto update.

I find there are no sound when I play DVD. (in media player and media center)
But it can play CD and have sound in other application program.

Is it decoder program?

I'm guessing you have an AMD K7 family CPU, like AMD XP ?
There is a (known) bug in a Vista codec, causing this problem
with the above mentioned CPU's (+Intel P-III's)

Try This,
If running Windows Vista and you have realtek AC'97 audio, you have to
download the new realtek audio driver. Here is the link below, if it don't
open when you click on it, copy and paste on your browser:

http://www.realtek.com.tw/downloads/...&GetDown=false

Once your on the site, download: Vista Driver (32/64 bits) Driver only (ZIP
file)
unzip it or extact it, then install the driver
