hello,
big problem: my pc is always connected to my video recorder. when my wife watches a movie i get the sound on my speakers... i have to switch off the complete sound in the taskbar. even when i go to the device control and pull down the volume at the line-in panel - nothing happens. please give me back the old mixer where i have all devices...mic, line in, stereo mix and so one.... with a button to switch on or off. the sound control in vista doesn´t work and i dont´want to go to the device control every time ...can you fix this please? ---------------- This post is a suggestion for Microsoft, and Microsoft responds to the suggestions with the most votes. I use the stereo / wave / digital mixer because I work with digital media and
it's quick and easy to record various sound sources. PUT IT BACK MICROSOFT!! I won't be buying vista unless you put this feature back because I need it! I agree. I've looked at various hardware forums (Creative) and noted that
people who use the recording mixer seem to be in the minority. I've been running Vista RC2 and been really frustrated by the lack of a recording mixer. The only thing that is supplied with Vista is a crude input selector, with almost no control over individual input levels. It's somewhat surprising to me that a bigger stink hasn't been made over this omission. ...Gerry "olli" wrote: hello, big problem: my pc is always connected to my video recorder. when my wife watches a movie i get the sound on my speakers... i have to switch off the complete sound in the taskbar. even when i go to the device control and pull down the volume at the line-in panel - nothing happens. please give me back the old mixer where i have all devices...mic, line in, stereo mix and so one.... with a button to switch on or off. the sound control in vista doesn´t work and i dont´want to go to the device control every time ...can you fix this please? ---------------- This post is a suggestion for Microsoft, and Microsoft responds to the suggestions with the most votes.
