I should add that these are Canon raw files so they are CRW.
Thanks "Colin Grant" wrote in message ... What is the recommended way to view/convert RAW photo files in Vista please? And I cannot afford Photoshop :-) Thanks Colin |

I believe it would be the Microsoft viewer:
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=en Of course, it won't install in Vista because it is checking for XP SP2. Hopefully it gets updated. Even better, just build it in. Next: I would go to the Canon site and see it you can download Digital Photo Pro etc. "Colin Grant" wrote: I should add that these are Canon raw files so they are CRW. We were promised a full RAW support built in Vista. Is this feature another
one that got scrapped? Shame on MS, if it's the case! "Colin Grant" wrote in message ... What is the recommended way to view/convert RAW photo files in Vista please? And I cannot afford Photoshop :-) Thanks Colin |

I find it hard to believe that Microsoft has left out the raw viewer, would
someone at MS please explain why. "Stooovie" wrote: We were promised a full RAW support built in Vista. Is this feature another one that got scrapped? Shame on MS, if it's the case!
