I can't use Itunes because it says I do not have permission to my music
folder, which Itunes needs. This UAC is really annoying because I am the only user on this computer. |

It's not enough to run as Administrator - you either have to turn off UAC
completely or edit the ACLs on your folders directly. hi, i've tried everything that u guys have suggested. Turned off UAC, ran
itunes as Administrator, ensured all music files and itunes and ipod program files are shared with everyone, ran itunes in compatibility mode but it still give me this message: ""attempt to copy disk to "ipod" failed. You do not have enough access priviledges for this operation. itunes could not save to your music folder because you do not have write access Check the permissions on your music folder and floders in your music folder, then try copying again."" I can't upload my ipod with music. it's really frustrating. i really wonder if there's anything left that i can try..... You may still need to adjust the individual folder/file permissions.
Otherwise you're really just looking at standard beta program pain. "tkq" wrote in message ... hi, i've tried everything that u guys have suggested. If you are running an operating system beta, then I think you probably have
the skills to look that up yourself. If not, then this isn't the place to give a tutorial in Windows security features. ....and no, I don't think it should be this hard. "Eric" wrote in message ... OK mike, we all know you're the beta god, but why don't you answer his
question or quit posting altogether "Mike Williams" wrote in message ... If you are running an operating system beta, then I think you probably have the skills to look that up yourself.
