Hi,
I'm running Vista Home Premium. The above is on my hard drive, occupying 10.2 MB, and I have no idea what it is, or whether I can safely delete it. I Googled it, and it has something to do with a network. My PC is single and personal, and not in any official network that I am aware of. Any help will be appreciated. Morton |

Hi, Morton.
Have a look at this KB article: List of bugs that are fixed in the .NET Framework 1.1 Service Pack 1 (SP1) http://support.microsoft.com/kb/867460/en-us Like you, I'm just one guy with one computer and no network, and I can't say for sure whether it is safe to delete this file. Maybe someone else will jump in here with the right answer. You might want to rename it and see if any error messages or other problems pop up in the next week or so. If they do, you can restore the name; if not, then delete it. RC -- R. C. I looked further, and apparently the .NET Framework is included in Vista, and I'm running Vista Home Premium. I guess that I'm better off leaving it on my H.D. for now. Morton |
