i think u have a widescreen wallpaper... change wallpapers. and the bar is
black because thats what you have it set up to be, u can change it and make
it any color u like. its just the background behind the wallpaper.

Hey there.. I think I have solutions for your problems.. For Mr. Boo, try
turning off "Lyrics, Captions and Subtitles".. Go to the WMP menu, go to
"Play", "Lyrics, Captions and Subtitles", and click off.. I think that cud
solve tht.. As for dirtyesanchez, this cud be one of 2 problems, it's either
a corupte file in your GPU driver, so try to disable Aero style from the
personalize menu, and check the WMP if the black background on the title and
time bar is gone then check for an update for your GPU driver, or it might be
a corupt file in WMP itself, so try to remove it and add it again from "add
remove windows components" from the programs menu in the control panel.. Hope
I was any kind of help..

I have a question, I have Windows Vista RC1, but mine is built 5600, and
yours is 5728!! Is it cuz u have 64bits and I have 32bits, or is there a
version I haven't heard about??

Hey DiDo, I cant use aero style, My card doesnt support it. But I'll check on
corrupt files.

As for your question about the builds, RC1 IS in fact 5600 but they released
a new build now. It is 5728. You can download it he
http://download.windowsvista.com/pre...nload-5728.htm

Its a lot better than RC1. Have fun!

Dont mention it, i TOTALLY agree with you. Everything i've found out, whether
its about Media Player 11, Live Messenger, Vista, Office 2007, etc. I've had
to find out about on my own by looking through the net, looking through their
pages and snooping around here in the Communities. In fact i ran across 5728
by accident. because someone else mentioned it and i did some research and
found the link. Well, i'll add u to my live messenger. Take it easy
