char;596798 Wrote: default window uses what login Hi Char, Not sure what you mean. By default Vista uses what you what you setup during installation for the Username and Password. If you bought a computer with Vista preinstalled, then the password is usually blank and simply clicking on the user icon or pressing Enter on Password will let you logon. If this is not what you meant, then please let us know with more details on what you meant. If you mean, "If I don't log in or select a user when Windows starts, what
login does Windows use?" the answer is, "The first, and only, login created when Windows was set up." If there is more than one login present, Windows will default to showing the welcome screen where you can pick an account to log into. -- Richard G. Harper [MVP Shell/User] * NEW!
