Today I started having the exact same problem, running Vista Home Premium.
Until today, have been using Backup & Restore successfully for almost a year. I'm running a Lenovo laptop. Can someone help? i've done a virus scan and found no problems. Thanks. "Christine [MSFT]" wrote: Hi there, Is this file backup? If it is, could you send me the trace files under C:\Windows\Logs\WindowsBackup? (remove "online" from my email address) Thanks, -- Christine Fok, Program Manager, Storage Solution Division "bcpc43" wrote: my hp is 1 month old and the backup and restore pgm has been getting a catastrophic error with a code 0x8000fff when I backup to C:\. If I go to a cd it works fine. I was able to do backups up until 6 days ago. I have spent 3 days with hp and they all have different options to try but none which work. The error code seems to be used for a lot of things but I haven't found any help for the B&R pgm. Any help is appreciated. |
