Hello.
I just installed Vista and I faced two problems:
1. WMP doesn't play MP3 files;
1. Norton Internet Security 2006 seems to be incompatible.

What should I do?
Thank you for any help.

What happens when you do try to play them

1. Norton Internet Security 2006 seems to be incompatible.

Use alternate free software like AVG until Symantec is ready (and you'll
probably find that you won't need them after trying some of the better free
alternatives).

Hello, Mike.

I did some research and already installed Trend Micro PC antivirus (I saw
this Vista antivirus compatible on Microsoft site).
About WMP, the problem is sometimes the files play, and sometimes don´t, I
can´t figure out why.

Another problem I am facing right now is with the printer HP... no drivers
up to date.

Thank you for your effort.

You may just be running into an issue with compressed headers in MP3 files.
WMP won't play such files (and doesn't say that that is the reason). You
have to use WinAmp or another third-party tag tool to rebuild the file
headers.

With respect to the other OT issue, either look for beta drivers from HP or
try re-installing old ones in XP Compatibility mode.
