Dear All,
I do encounter the same problem(s). We are currently testing: -Windows Vista RC1 Build 5600 -Windows Media Player 11 version 11.0.5600.6276 in combination with our own: streaming media server Microsoft Windows Media Services 4.1 on Windows 2000 server. After clicking (a normally correct working) .asx file, I receive an error in Windows Media Player 11. Error code C00D1197. If I directly open the correct url in Windows Media, e.g.: mms://........, directly pointing to the Windows Media file on the server, the same error code appears. In WMP11 under Tools, Options..., tab Network all protocols are selected, the Streaming proxy settings are set to autodetect. In my opinion the problem is related to WMP11 and not to Vista or IE7. Hope to hear from you soon. Kind regards, Guido. Currently I have only been able to use rtsp://. After all isn't mms:// the Microsoft protocol and rtsp:// is RealPlayer? Any help is appreciated. Stanley -- The Spice Must Flow... |
