Default iTunes 7 - Can't edit tag info

Hi, I have Vista RC2 and can't edit song information (right click get
info) in songs using iTunes 7.0.1, the fields are all greyed out. Ditto if
I simply click and try to rename an album within the library or whatnot. In
fact I've had the same problem since RC1. Any one else having this issue?
Or, something I'm missing?

Also, might as well throw this out there, sometimes when a song is done
playing it won't skip to the next song.

I d/loaded 7.0.1 onto RC1 over the weekend for a peek, and found this to be
a sporadic problem.

The files may be set to read-only.

Right-click on a music file (using Windows Explorer, not iTunes), choose
'Properties', see if the 'Read-Only' box is checked.

Actually -

I also had this problem when I first installed Vista. It turns out that
even though you've logged on as an administrator, you actually have to give
permission for iTunes to modify the song tags. Right click on the iTunes
icon and go to Properties. In the Compatibility tab, at the bottom of the
page there is an option to allow the program with administrator privilege.
This should solve your problem.
