Ink cartridge levels
How do you check the ink levels in your printer? Win 98SE had a window that
popped up and showed you how much ink was in each cartridge. I am using an Epson Stylus Color 600 printer and Widows Vista Home Premium. |

I am using an Epson Stylus Color 600 printer and Widows Vista Home Premium. Such a window is a function of the particular printer and its driver, not of any version of Windows. Also note that such a display is only an estimate anyway, not a real measurement of the amount of ink left. -- Ken Blake, Microsoft MVP - Windows Desktop Experience Please Reply to the Newsgroup |

You could, however, try going to Control Panel/Hardware & Sound/Pinters and if yours show there, right-click and see if "Printer Preferences" is displayed. Usually one of the tabs there will show ink levels. -- Peter Toronto, Canada XP Pro SP2/SP3 Beta/Vista Ultimate SP1 Beta Triple Boot |

Now I know where to go to get the fix. It may be that the printer is too old to get that driver but I will check. Thanks again. |
