No Sound
Well I did the ultimate stupid thing I accidentally uninstalled the driver
for my sound device and now I don't have one. I am going to try a full restore to get it back. Maybe that will fix the other problem as well . If anyone has a better idea please let me know. |

Why not simply reinstall the driver?

Well that was a waste of time ,got the Sound system bACK BUT STILL NO SOUND
AND IT SAYS IT DOES NOT RECOGNISE IT, so i am doing it again. And joy of joys the dvd/cd drive is playing up and not reading the discs properly...wish I had never bought the darned thing now. will next try updating the dvd driver is any thing on this system designed to work the first 20 times? Yeah ok so how do you reinstall your driver? I don't know the name of it, where it is and I downloaded my Microsoft Office Ultimate from a link so it's not like I have a cd or a book to look at. Before doing that, download, install and run Belarc Advisor (Google it) to find out what your sound card is and post that info as well. -- Max |
