"jetjock" jetjock@hanger wrote in message ... Could not get Vista and XP machines to file or printer share. Computer store owner no help; says that it's almost impossible to get the two systems to work together. The Computer store Owner is a complet moron then. I've set up plenty of systems lately, all with various versions of O.S.'s running (mix -n-match of NT 4.0, Win2k PRO & Server, Win Server 2k3 and Win Server 2k8 (RC1) and have absolutely ZERO (0) problems networking them together, either in a domain or simply in a PEER workgroup. And I DID NOT have to resort to any 3rd party software to get it done. |
