On my pc I have since the first beta2 of vista the problem that after
installing it (installation seems to go well) I only get a black screen with the buildnumber at the right bottom en the mouse pointer. I have no serial mouse attached just a keyboard and a bluetooth mouse wich I want to install after logging into Vista but I can't because I only see this black screen. Does anyone know at microsoft what this problem is causing. Prior to insallation I ran Vista upgrade adviser. It told me that the harddiskdriver isn't compattible with Vista but when installing Vista I can see all my harddisks and it installes without problems so I don't think this has anything to do with it. I installed Vista with loading the beta SATA driver from Nvidia and Installed it a second time without loading a seperate driver (using the buildin driver form Vista) but both times the same sollution, the black screen. My system specs a Mobo Asus K8N4-E deluxe AMD 64 3200+ processor 2 x 1024 Gb Kingston memory 1 x 300 Gb Maxton SATA harddisk 1 x Geforce 6600LE videocard 1 x hauppauge 500MCE tv-card blue tooth microsoft mouse and keyboard when installing a use a normal keeuboard but no mouse |
