Hi all, strange issue with a tower that we built. It's on our SBS 2003
domain, with the firewall settings pushed out through GP. The user tried to RDP to the machine the other night but it didn't allow him to connect. Investigation turns up a weird situation where the Network and Sharing Center is blank. I tried to open the N&SC and it just hangs. Nothing listed or anything. I know I can just wipe the system and reinstall things, but it would be nice to get an idea of what the heck is going on with it. Thanks in advance. |

See if this helps: Network and Sharing Center Freezes 1. Go into Safe Mode With Command Prompt 2. At the command prompt: net localgroup "Administrators" "local Service" /add [enter] See "The command completed successfully". Type: exit [enter] and allow Vista to start normally.
