Hi,
1. It's enabled on my laptop. it won't damage anything, but you do have to be mindful of potential loss of power. You may lose data from a work in progress if a sudden power loss occurs. 2. Directly measure? No, there is no facility for that. Whether or not it will be useful for you depends on how much memory you have installed and what the demands on the system are. -- Best of Luck, Rick Rogers, aka "Nutcase" - Microsoft MVP http://mvp.support.microsoft.com/ Windows help - www.rickrogers.org My thoughts http://rick-mvp.blogspot.com "Quick Parts" wrote in message ... Hi,
The system may not fully support it in certain modes (like battery vs. plugged). -- Best of Luck, Rick Rogers, aka "Nutcase" - Microsoft MVP http://mvp.support.microsoft.com/ Windows help - www.rickrogers.org My thoughts http://rick-mvp.blogspot.com "Quick Parts" wrote in message ...
