Yes, it's another Offline Files problem. (Just as well Microsoft made it so seamless and easy). I have just started using Offline Files to sync my Vista Business laptop to a Win2k3 server on our company LAN (domain). While everything appears to work (no sync errors), when I go offline the only files available are Office 2003 documents (*.doc, *.xls, etc). Other files such as *.docx, *.xlsx, *.pdf, *.xps, *.zip are NOT available. Properties on the 'missing' files show, in the Offline Files tab, "This file is online" but the Always available offline box is ticked and greyed. The Details tab shows Offline availability as "Not available". A *.doc file shows the same Offline Files tab, but an Offline availbility of "Always available". This is not a caching issue (I have 40 GB of cache available and only 900MB in use), and I have enabled OpLocks via the registry. Any ideas? -- daggmano Posted via http://www.vistaheads.com |
