When accessing the WMP 11 library tab, it displays the following message '
There are no items in this library yet - the Player is searching for digital media files in the background.' However, despite having circa 15,000 ripped tracks on the HDD, it does not seem to ever find anything. Any ideas why not? |

Are you sure the music is in a folder that is configured to be monitored?
You may know this but just in case: click the drop down for the library and choose Add to Library. Yep, definitely have my personal folders selected. Even if I play a file
directly by navigating to the folder outside of WMP, it is not added to the library. "Dale" wrote: Are you sure the music is in a folder that is configured to be monitored? Well, that's a setting, too - to add music you listen to to your library.
Have you set it and it is still not working? Dale -- Dale Preston MCAD C# MCSE, MCDBA "encee" wrote: Yep, definitely have my personal folders selected. The problem seems to be that WMP 11 seems to lose to list of monitored
folders everytime I close the Library options dialog. "Dale" wrote: Well, that's a setting, too - to add music you listen to to your library. Have you set it and it is still not working? Common problem on both Vista and XP. You may have to wait for the release
version on Vista. "encee" wrote in message ... The problem seems to be that WMP 11 seems to lose to list of monitored folders everytime I close the Library options dialog.
