Default using vista as ics host with win98 client

I need to know if i will have any compatiblity issues if i change my
existing setup from

win98 box as ics host which has vista business client and xp home client
connecting to the internet

to

vista business machine as ics host and then have win98 and xp home machine
connect thru this to the internet?

I realize 98 is no longer supported but trying to keep some old software
running due to expense.

thankyou

Hi
There should not be problems in using Vista ICS.

Out of curiosity why are you not using Cable/DSL Router?

read what you said and light went on upstairs. lol

I never tried to plug the cable modem into the uplink port on my switch.

I allways thought this wouldnt work because cable company says they charge
extra for 2nd ip address.

anyway no more ics and all 3 are up and running.

thanks
