I'm trying to access my work network through a VPN and, once I get through the Sonicwall to the network login, Vista Home Premium insists on prepending my laptop computer name to my network login user name which, of course, the network does not recognize. Neither secpol.msc nor gpedit are available as plug-ins to mmc in Home Premium. I've tried the registry fix to the lmcompatibilitylevel key by setting it to 1 and that hasn't helped either. Is there someplace else I should be looking? Any hints as to how I can fix the problem? -- ringzania Posted via http://www.vistaheads.com |
