A little while ago, I posted a message regarding the status of my network
wireless connection as it said 'Connected with Limited Access'. What does this mean? A reply posted suggested that I have a look at www.chicagotech.net/vista/vistaconnection.htm but I couldn't actually decide which one I should be looking at - can someone be more specific, as I am really non-technical! My second computer (XP) on my little network shows that it is 'security enabled', so at least I know my system is secure. Thanks. |

Rosie, The message "Connected with limited access" means that you have connection, if any, only with other computers having that same limited access. Or, you have no connection at all, with anything. http://nitecruzr.blogspot.com/2005/07/limited-or-no-connectivity.html http://nitecruzr.blogspot.com/2005/0...nectivity.html -- Cheers, Chuck, MS-MVP 2005-2007 [Windows - Networking] http://nitecruzr.blogspot.com/ Paranoia is not a problem, when it's a normal response from experience.
