ICS not woriking
Hi Crille,
I have de same problem with the build 5384. I am working with de Vista (host) and the Windows 2000 (my notebook). I use ICS with vista but the win 2000 can't use the internet. I can't ping an internet address like (200.x.x.x) from the notebook for ex. My host can view the notebook and the notebook can view the host but the notebook can't use the internet. I think the ICS isn't work properly in this build. With Win XP (host) all work !!! Giovanni. "Crille" wrote: Hello, I've got som problems getting ICS (internet connection sharing) to work. My vista (build 5384) machine got two cards, connecting to my HTPC (XP 32bit). ICS workts perfect if I boot XP on the vista machine. Ipconfig reveals the IP adresses of my two cards as: 85.8.(secret).(secret) and 192.168.0.1 Seems right? The HTPC gets the IP 192.168.0.3 Seems right too? BUT, I can't use internet on it. Any ideas? |
