I installed preRC1 on one of my laptops that is connected to a home network
through a wireless router. The internet connection is ok. I can browse the internet and get the download from upgrade. A major problem doscovered by my children is the wireless router constantly reset and restarting every few minutes. This process disconnets all the computers from the internet, even those that are connected through an ethernet cable. This is a big problems for their internet games which require constant internet connections. I am not sure this is a Vista specific problem or is related to IE 7 RC. I believe installation of IE 7 RC on a XP machine also causes router to restart constantly. Does any one else experience a similar problem. I tried to uninstall the two discovery drivers associated with the wireless adapter as suggested by someone, but it apparently did not help. Any suggestions or solutions? |
