Anyone else have any problems with drive conversion in x64 Ultimate? I have a 100GB 7200RPM SATA HDD( no RAID), (USB Key-no TPM) used the Bitlocker drive prep tool. Conversion of drive would never go past 0%. When I checked event viewer, Event ID 24592 — BitLocker Volume Conversion could not restart. I would again set bitlocker to convert, defrag, and run chkdsk( no errors/bad sectors ever found) when notebook restarted It would again not go past 0% A check of the event viewer showed a "metadata could not be flushed error." If I failed to run check disk at start up, bitlocker conversion would not restart, and if It did restart after chkdsk I would then get a metadata flush error. Never has conversion gone further than 0% Any Ideas of what the problem could be?
