Default cant connect to network shares on usb drives

Hello

When I try to connect to network shares on a usb drive on my vista machine.

I get the following messege "not enough available server storage to process
command", the shares on my internal drives work fine.

I have looked into this and their is a fix which requires you to change the
ipstack size in the registry. however I have tried this and it doesnt work.

Richard,

Can you specify what value you set the IrpStackSize to ?
We have changed the default value in post-RC1 builds to 25 based on the
feedback we have recieved from customers.

Thanks ~
Prashanth

thanks for your reply

im not sure now but I think I had to create the key.

I tried from 1 to 13 decimal, then got fed up and loaded a new image of
vista and it works now. its strange I only had the problem on shares on the
usb drives though, shares on the ide and sata drives worked fine.
