I was told by the rep. at apple to call microsofts and ask them to update usb drive firmware so that the computer will be compatable with the ipod... please help me because i am truly frustrated with this issue.thank you. |

I also bought a new Ipod Nano and my Vista Home Premium operating system does
not recognize the device when I plug the USB cable from my Ipod to my PC. In addition, my Ipod Nano will not charge. I have enstalled the latest version of ITunes successfully, but my Nano still will not charge and the device is not recognized when the Nano is plugged into USB port on my PC. Any suggestions? Any opinion or answer as to why my Nano will not charge when connected to my PC? Does it have something to do with the fact the PC isn't recognizing the connection? Is there software out there for Vista x64 that will allow you to use a Mac-formatted iPod on Vista? XPlay doesn't have a 64 version yet. -- Icky |
