ASUS P5AD2E mobo with onboard ASUS 802 11B/G Wireless Lan. Dual booting XP
Pro SP2 and Vista RC1. When I try to setup the wireless connection my Linksys wireless router is shown along with my son's NetGer router from next door. Trying to connect with either one brings up the notice that "The capability of your network adapter does not match the requirements of this network Linksys". The connection works fine in Win XP. What do I need to do to get RC1 to establish a connection? |

Problem solved. Went to Staples and bought a Belkin USB Wireless Adapter.
Took a couple of minutes to run the setup CD and when I plugged in the adapter it found my router and after putting in the router key I was up and running on the internet. "LD" wrote in message ... Go to device manager, double click your wireless network adapter, click on the driver tab, and roll back. www.jcjsystems.com -- johnjohnson1979 ------------------------------------------------------------------------ johnjohnson1979's Profile: http://forums.techarena.in/member.php?userid=37519 View this thread: http://forums.techarena.in/showthread.php?t=589345 http://forums.techarena.in |
