Default Mac doesn't show up in Network explorer or browse

After installing RC1 and making some changes in security policy suggested in
a different post:

FROM VISTA: The Mac (OS X 10.4) does not show up in the Network explorer
window or behind the Browse button in the Map Network Drive dialog. I can
nonetheless map a folder on the Mac by typing the full path to the folder (eg
\\mac\docs) and
providing account and password.

FROM MAC: The Vista machine shows up on Network in the Finder, shares are
all listed, and everything works great.

Interesting. What install of 10.4 are you using, and is the firewall
running? I've just tested with a MacBook running 10.4.7 and (it took a while
but) I can see my Mac just fine.
