Vista Ultimate32 Memory Error
sometimes when i POWER OFF my pc the following error pops up:
"The instruction at 0x768b882c referenced memory at 0xffffffff. The memory could not be read" this error is NOT there when closing office applications, not on IE browser. system is updated

seems like the band at the top of the dialog box that pops up refers to

ty rick... i tried your suggestions and almost all the gadgets are thje culprit
- the WEATHER having the longest timeout. yet i need the WEATHER exe so i change the timeout settings in the registry file and it did worked excellente.
