Default Upgrading to XP

I just went for Vista to XP and very happy i did. It was on an ACER 5315 and
works great. drivers are very easy to find.

Default Upgrading to XP

Going from Windows Vista to Windows XP is
considered a "downgrade" and not an "upgrade".

What are you talking about? What you have typed/posted here makes no sense.

No kidding. Vista is such a bad OS going back to XP was "like" an upgrade.
When you upgrade you should be getting a better not worse OS

You couldn't drive. So, it was time for you to get out from behind the wheel
of Vista and crawl back with your tail between your legs.

I see the XP Vs Vista thinhg still goes on

I have the opposite problem. My friend placed the order for my laptop from
Dell and ordered XP Pro when I just assumed I'd get the new version of
windows.
I've had it a few months now and am happy with it, except for the fact that
I wanted Vista Ultimate (so that I could install language pack). I've pretty
much stayed with what I was sent because I didn't think there was any way to
change it

Of course it does. Some people still believe in privacy.

XP MARK - I'm planning to "upgrade" my ACER 5315 tonight. I'm hoping it's an
easy transition. Are there any suggestions you'd make before I attempt this?

Also..... anything you would have done different?
