I installed RC1 yesterday and I cannot connect to the net via my ie7 web
browser though I can ping yahoo and other sites but cannot use the browser. I
tried to connect via my companys lan and wireless network with the same
results. I have read other peoples post but I do not see a difinitive fix.
Will I have a problem reinstalling xp Pro if I cannot fix this issue?

Well I'm fixed with help from an Mvp in another group. I d/l realtek drivers
for win vista beta. Installed them and it still did not work untill I booted
in safe mode with Network connections. Browsers showed web sites worked just
fine. Rebooted normally and all is finally well. Although widows explorer is
kinda hard to find at first!
