I'm running XP ME SP2 on an Alienware Area 51 m5700i notebook, Core 2 duo
@1.66 GHz, 1.0 GB of RAM, 80 GB NTFS HD. I want AVG Anti-Virus and AVG Anti-Spyware to startup automatically. How do I add the programs to the startup menu in software explorer? The option to remove a program is simple as the click of the button, but I've searched high and low and not one search result has provided me any answers. I've played w/the programs and cannot find an autostart option w/in the prgms. |

1.. Click the Start button , point to Programs, right-click the Startup
folder, and then click Open. 2.. Open the location that contains the item to which you want to create a shortcut. 3.. Right-click the item, and then click Create Shortcut. The new shortcut appears in the same location as the original item. 4.. Drag the shortcut into the Startup folder. "mrboudin83" wrote in message ...
