Default desktop search increases file size

I am using Vista Business on my laptop, and I have downloaded the extension
that lets me search my Lotus notes emails also. The problem is that this
seems to lead to an ever-increasing mail file in Lotus. I am now at a 10 GB
(!!) mail file, and it seems to be growing every time I use the desktop
search. this not limited to Vista, btw, other people have the same problem
under XP.

Has anybody seen this before, and if so, is there a solution to this?
Obviously, at some point I will run out of HD space...

Sorry if this is the wrong forum. If so, where should I post this?

Unfortunately it looks like you have to have an IBM ID (IBM.com email) to be
able to register on that site.

Mikebo

You must be looking in the wrong place?

When you go to that website, on the right side of the page, in the "Sign in
or register" menu, click the "Create new registration" option. I just used a
hotmail email address to register there.
