I have an new computer - with Vista -and it constantly freezes. There is
nothing that I can do other than switch it off which is really bad for it. Also - if it goes to sleep - nothing wakes it up - so again I have to switch it off first. Any help? |

Hi Ceri,
I have an new computer Which means you also have a warranty. A freezing computer, especially a new one, often indicates a hardware issue. You should exercise that warranty you got and have the system checked by a technician. Possible causes are (but are not limited to): - faulty ram - faulty cpu - faulty motherboard - faulty power supply - corrupt or non-compliant video drivers - background application or service conflict -- Best of Luck, Rick Rogers, aka "Nutcase" - Microsoft MVP http://mvp.support.microsoft.com/ Windows help - www.rickrogers.org My thoughts http://rick-mvp.blogspot.com "Ceri" wrote in message news ![]() I have an new computer - with Vista -and it constantly freezes.
